In brief

一月 7, 2000

Barry Tebb, in criticising public library charges (Letters, THES, December 24/31), suggests that university libraries jealously guard their resources from the public. Nonsense. The University of Central Lancashire, like many others, welcomes members of the public. If you are local, all you need to come in is your ticket from the county library. We even let in folks from Yorkshire (as long as they are quiet).
