Centro Universitario Madulo is a higher education institution located on the north coast of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 1988, it is committed to regional development and an appreciation of the Caiçara identity and peoples, the traditional inhabitants of the coastal areas of southeastern and southern Brazil, as well as academical teachings and research.
The university is comprised of two campuses, both in close proximity to the vibrant centre of the city of Sao Paulo.
The university is accessible, offering face-to-face, online, and long distance learning options to allow students from more backgrounds to study. Furthermore it offers several types of programme asides from the traditional bachelor’s and master’s degrees, including medical, technical, vocational and free courses.
Centro Universitario Madulo offers courses in a wide range of subject areas, in the more traditional from law and medicine to agronomy, data analysis and visual arts. It is divided into 19 faculties: administration, analysis and development, architecture and urbanism, biomedicine, biological sciences, accounting sciences, law, physical education, nursing, civil engineering, production engineering, pharmacy, physiotherapy, human resources, journalism, pedagogy, psychology, and advertising.
It has online classrooms to facilitate online and long distance learning, as well as strong links to industry, and increasing internationalisation with links to universities in Europe and North America.
