关于 Universidade Lusófona
Established in 1987, the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, commonly known as the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies, is Portugal's largest private university.
It proudly serves as the flagship institution within Grupo Lusófona, a consortium that oversees various educational establishments across Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Angola, Guinea-Bissau, and Mozambique. One of its central missions is to promote Lusophony, which refers to the use of the Portuguese language, and it offers reduced fees to students from former Portuguese African colonies.
The university offers an extensive array of programmes across different fields of study, spanning various cycles of the Bologna process:
In the first cycle, known as "licenciatura" or undergraduate degree, students can pursue their initial academic journey. For those seeking advanced education, the second cycle offers master's degrees, while the third cycle provides opportunities for doctoral degrees.
The courses encompass a wide spectrum of disciplines, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive educational experience for students. These disciplines include architecture, urban planning, geography, and plastic arts, social and human sciences, communication sciences, arts, architecture, and information technology, health sciences, law, physical education, sports, and leisure, engineering and natural sciences, veterinary medicine, psychology, and economy and management.
With a strong emphasis on linguistic and cultural diversity, Universidade Lusófona seeks to empower students with the tools they need to succeed in an interconnected world.
