关于 Uganda Pentecostal University

The Uganda Pentecostal University was founded in February 2001 as the Grotius School of Law Professional Studies. Initially, it operated as an independent institution affiliated to Busoga University but in 2004 the National Council for Higher Education registered it as a separate institution. In 2005 the university was granted full university status and was renamed Uganda Pentecostal University. It became one of the few institutions recognised by the Law Council to teach approved law courses.

The university is located in the heart of Kabarole District, Fort Portal City, Uganda.

There are five faculties at the university: the faculty of law, faculty of arts and social sciences, faculty of information technology, faculty of business administration, and the faculty of journalism and communication. Each faculty is organised into different schools, which offer a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
