关于 Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Polytechnic University of the Philippines began as the Manila Business School in 1904. Some years later in 1978 it gained university status and its current name. The public, non-profit university specialises in commerce, business, and technology through undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
With over 20 campuses, it has Philippines largest student body. It’s main campus is located in Sta Mesa, Manila.
The average class size is around 45-50 students, which is considerably less than standard lecture classes across Europe. Aware that its students have other responsibilities, the university arranges weekend and evening classes, and offers part-time, flexible programmes.
Students can study across a wide range of programmes across its faculties: accountancy and finance; architecture, design and the built environment; arts and letters; business administration; communication; computer and information sciences; education; engineering; human kinetics; law; political science and public administration; social sciences and development; science; tourism, hospital and transportation management; and technology.
There are a number of student organisations including dance, photography, chorus and interior design.
