关于 Marche Polytechnic University
The focus of Marche Polytechnic University is mainly technical-scientific. Its main duties are scientific research and higher education, which are connected so that teaching promotes scientific knowledge and the development of human capital. The university encourages any action aimed at achieving quality and efficiency of research and didactics, by means of national and international cooperation and according to criteria based on the evaluation and valorisation of merit. On the international field, the university promotes all kinds of collaboration aimed at achieving knowledge, integration and mutual enrichment of cultures, knowledge spreading and the exchange of all actors of the academic community. In the five faculties – Engineering, Medicine and Surgery, Economics, Agriculture and Sciences – the students have free access to services and wide spaces for studying; language laboratories allow students to receive internationally recognised certificates. Finally the website www.univpm.it can be used for the best practices of e-government, including online registration of grades got by passing exams. About 50 courses (first- and second-level degrees) are currently active in the five faculties, as well as 35 specialisation schools, nine PhD courses and professional master’s. The teaching staff is made up of about 700 professors and researchers. Due to this number it is quite easy for students to build good and direct relationships with teachers, in a didactic environment focused more on students than on teachers.
