关于 Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is an educational institution under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, focused on training personnel for the National Police of Ukraine following international standards.
The university was established in 1994 and has become a prominent higher education and research institution in Ukraine.
It is situated in Kharkiv, the second-largest city in Ukraine, with a population exceeding 1.4 million. Kharkiv has a rich history, originally founded in 1654 as a fortress and later evolving into a major industrial, trade, and cultural centre in the Russian Empire.
The university comprises six internal training and scientific institutes, specializing in investigative and interrogative units, criminal police units, public order units, psychology, management, social and informational technologies, part-time studies, law, economy, and sociology. Additionally, there are two external law institutes: Kirovograd Law Institute and Kerson Law Institute.
The Kremenchuk Flight College at the university is a leading aviation institution in Ukraine, offering full-time and part-time programmes in aviation, technical, and economic specializations. Graduates from the college serve in aviation units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The university also contributes to research, publishing over 500 scientific studies across various subjects, with its five open-access scientific journals being included in national and international databases.
