关于 Institute of Business Management
The Institute of Business Management was founded in 1995 as a College of Business Management, offering bachelor, master’s and doctoral degree programmes. Three years later, the college was given official university status.
It operates across a nine-acre site in Korangi Creek, on the banks of the River Malir and the Arabian Sea Coast. The campus has facilities including modern classrooms, advanced computer labs, and a comprehensive library.
The institute is comprised of four colleges: the College of Business Management, the College of Economics, the College of Computer Science and the College of Engineering Sciences. Within each college are different departments offering a wide range of degree programmes at both undergraduate and graduate level.
A distinguishable feature of undergraduate programmes at the university is that they all have compulsory foreign language courses attached to them. Languages that can be chosen include Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Turkish.
Another unique feature relating to student life at the Institute of Business Management is that student events and societies are organised and established independently. Major events, such as the Model United Nations, panels, recreational activities and galas are entirely organised by students.
