关于 Central Luzon State University
Central Luzon State University began as a farm school in 1907, training training students in farming methods, mechanics and homemaking. The institution gained university status in 1964 and continued to train professionals in agricultural and mechanic arts alongside the advanced research of literature, philosophy, the sciences, technology and art.
The university has 10 colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including: agriculture, arts and social sciences, business administration and accountancy, education, engineering, fisheries, home science and industry, veterinary science and medicine, and science.
There is also a university science high school providing science and technology courses, and an Agricultural Science and Technology School training future farmers modern methods and technological innovations.
On campus, there is a tennis court, gymnasium and swimming pool. The university has a range of clubs and classes, such as basketball, badminton, Taekwondo and volleyball.
The university has a several specialist research and development centres, including the University Extension Centre focusing on rural development and agricultural extension. These research centres produce research in agriculture and farming and provide a place for postgraduate students to take part in this research.
