关于 Aleksandër Moisiu University
Aleksandër Moisiu University was founded in Albania’s second city of Durrës, a seaport and tourist resort on the Adriatic Coast.
It was named after Aleksandër Moisiu an Albanian actor who was one of the stars of the Austrian and Italian stage in the early 20th century.
Applying American rather than Albanian models of education, it started with around 1,000 students and has grown to a roll in the region of 20,000 spread across two campuses and five faculties.
The original campus on Currila Street accommodates professional studies and information technology. The 55 hectare Spitalle campus is home to business studies, education and political and legal studies.
A further distinctive element is the FASTIP centre established in 2008, supported by German funding and using the University of Baden-Wurttemburg’s model mixing classes with on-the-job training within enterprises.
