Universidad Autónoma Chapingo

Located in Texcoco, Mexico, the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo offers technical and full bachelor’s degrees, scientific and technological research programmes and agriculture, forestry and fishing programmes. The university was established in 1854.

The university requires all students who have completed their high school studies to undergo a one-year mandatory propaedeutic course to prepare for high level mathematics, engineering and agricultural focused classes in later programmes.

The university has faculties in forestry sciences, irrigation, engineering agroindustrial and rural sociology among others.
