Bharati Vidyapeeth University is private university in India, founded in 1964 by Dr. Patangrao Kadam, an educationalist and social reformer. The university's establishment was driven by the belief that education should be accessible to all, irrespective of social or economic backgrounds.

Since then, Bharati Vidyapeeth University has grown into a multi-campus institution with a strong presence in various cities across India. The university's main campus is located in Pune, Maharashtra, with more campuses in cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Sangli and Solapur.

Undergraduate students can choose to study programmes in medicine, engineering, arts, science, commerce, law, management, dentistry and nursing. Postgraduate students can specialise further and study anatomy, pathology, biochemistry, dermatology, nanotechnology, cinematography, design and more.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University has an International Students' Institute, led by Director Prof. Dr. Keerti Mahajan, to help and guide international students seeking admission to the university.
