关于 I-Shou University
I-Shou University is a business and medical oriented university in the city of Kaohsiung, southwestern Taiwan.
The city itself is the second largest in Taiwan and a highly modernised metropolis. Students may be enticed by the tropical climate, or even the night markets Kaohsiung is well known for. The area is also serviced by the Kaohsiung International Airport, the second largest airport in Taiwan.
For prospective undergraduate students there is opportunity to study at nine colleges, and in 2016 the colleges of management, tourism, hospitality and international college become AACSB accredited, bestowed on less than 5 per cent of business courses worldwide.
I-Shou University has partnership agreements with 26 nations across five continents, and 112 with universities in China. It is a backer of a range of scholarships such as the "Flying Eagle" programme, in which exceptional students are granted the opportunity to study abroad at a partner institute, with one year’s worth of tuition funded by I-Shou. International students may be required to pass a test of Chinese as a Foreign Language before they can attend the university.
An affiliated partner of I-Shou is E United Group, a large private company based in Kaohsiung. The company provided facilities and resources for the university, as well as work placement programmes. In exchange for this programme and the many others like it at I-Shou, students can learn the needs of a business in an evolving marketplace and become a highly skilled worker that will add value to these companies following their graduation.
The main campus of Kaohsiung is situated in the Guanyinshan area, a popular tourist spot. There is also a medical campus in the city’s Yanchao District.
