Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin is Ireland’s leading university, ranked No. 1 in Ireland and 161st in the world (Times Higher Education University Rankings 2024). Founded in 1592, the University is steeped in history with a reputation for excellence in education, research and innovation. Located on an iconic campus in the heart of Dublin’s city centre, Trinity has over 21,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across our three faculties – Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); and Health Sciences.

With 24 academic schools, Trinity offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses across all the major disciplines including the arts and humanities, business, law, engineering, science, maths and health sciences. Postgraduate Research

Our research continues to address issues of global societal and economic importance. Trinity has developed 19 broad-based multidisciplinary research themes that cut across disciplines and facilitate world-leading research and collaboration within the university and with colleagues around the world. Scholarships. Fees and Funding

Tuition fees vary by programme and length taken to complete. Fees are also subject to change. Most postgraduate Masters programmes last one year. For a full list of course fees please visit: www.tcd.ie/academicregistry/fees-and-payments.

Trinity categorises students as either Irish/EU or non-EU international. Most international applicants apply as non-EU international students. Fee status is based on residency, not citizenship. You can determine your fee status here: www.tcd.ie/academicregistry/fees-and-payments. An online application fee of €55 per course applied for is required for all courses. This fee is non-refundable.

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES

Courses

We offer a wide variety of undergraduate degree programmes across our three faculties: Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Engineering, Mathematics and Science; and Health Sciences. Many courses include optional modules, to help tailor your degree to suit your interests, incorporating additional elements such as study abroad, innovation, internships, or quantitative research methods. These practical experiences help further boost your skills and enhance employability.

An undergraduate course normally lasts for four years. We have many courses in diverse areas of study including: Arts and Humanities, Social and Human Sciences, Business and Law, Science and Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science, and Health Science.
