关于 KTO Karatay University

KTO Karatay University was officially established in 2009 by the Education and Health Foundation in Turkey. It is named after the Karatay Madrasa, the first foundation higher education institution built by the Seljuks in 1251.

The university is located in Konya, a city in central Turkey.

There are six faculties within the university: faculty of law, faculty of engineering and natural sciences, faculty of economics and administrative sciences, faculty of social sciences and humanities, faculty of fine arts and design, and the medical school. Each faculty is divided into different departments, which offer a variety of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.

The university is also home to three vocational schools: Vocational School of Justice, Vocational School of Health Sciences, and the Commerce and Industry Vocational School, as well as three high schools: School of Health Sciences, School of Applied Sciences, and the School of Foreign Languages.

Research at the university is carried out at its numerous research centres, which are fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These centres include the Seljuk Culture and History Research Application and Research Centre and the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Research Centre.
