关于 Tashkent University of Information Technologies
The Tashkent University of Information Technologies was originally established in 1955 as the Tashkent Electro Technical Institute of Communication. The institute was one of the major producers of communication engineers for the Central Asian region.
In 2002 the institute was granted full university status and became Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
As its name suggests, the university is located in Tashkent, the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan.
There are eight faculties within the university: software engineering, computer engineering, cybersecurity, telecommunication technologies, television technologies, radio and mobile communication, economics and management, and vocational education. Each faculty is divided into a number of departments offering both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
The department of international relations is responsible for managing the university’s international activity. So far, the university has developed partnerships with more than 40 other higher education institutions in countries around the world. These countries include Germany, France, India, South Korea and Japan.
The university has a number of centres that facilitate various research projects, such as the Centre of Digital Learning Technologies and the Centre for the Development of Software and Hardware Complex.
