The Glasgow School of Art is one of the leading arts schools in the UK.

Initially established in 1845 as Glasgow Government School of Design, the university currently offers arts education in a wide range of disciplines like fine art, photography, painting, sculpture, product design, fashion design, textile design and jewellery design through its five schools: architecture, design, fine art, innovation and visualisation.

The Glasgow School of Art has two campuses - one in Scotland and one in Singapore, which together host students from more than 79 countries across the world.

The school offers its students a wide range of extra-curricular activities and events. The university also has a business, career and employability advice centre called the Enterprise Studio.

Constantly featuring among the top schools for art and design, the school also holds high academic reputation as the largest art and design research community in Scotland.
The Glasgow School of Art provides students with a wide range of study abroad options at its Singapore campus as well as thorough other academic partners. Currently, the university has academic partnerships with more than 75 leading arts schools in the world, who frequently facilitate staff and student exchanges.

The school is reputed for producing Scotland’s leading contemporary artists, which include Turner Prize winners like Simon Starling, Richard Wright, Martin Boyce, Duncan Campbell and Charlotte Prodger.
