Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University is a private Christian university established in 2012. The university is named in honour of the founder and Chancellor Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti.
The university is located in Bindura, a town in the province of Mashonaland Central, Zimbabwe.
There are four faculties within the university: law, business intelligence and economics; science, technology and food systems development; education, governance, theology and leadership, and heritage, humanities and societal development. Each faculty is divided into different departments, which offer a range of undergraduate degree programmes.
There are a number of sports clubs on offer at the university including basketball, netball, rugby, cricket, table-tennis and volleyball. Students are given the opportunity to compete at national and international competitions.
Research is an important part of the university’s activity. Throughout the year, it publishes its research findings in several academic and scientific journals such as Law and Public Policy, Leadership, Governance and Development, and Community Engagement and Societal Transformation.
