Established in 1999 as a university centre, the University of Djelfa attained full university status in October 2008.
Situated in Djelfa, the capital of the Djelfas Province in Algeria, the city sits at an elevation of 3,734 ft in the Ouled Naïl Range of north-central Algeria. Djelfa offers a fascinating glimpse into the history and culture of the region, characterized by natural splendour and dramatic contrasts.
The university offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses across four main areas of study: arts and humanities, business and social sciences, engineering, and science and technology.
