At the University of Waikato, Te Whare Wananga o Waikato, we are committed to delivering a world-class education and research portfolio, providing a full and dynamic university experience, distinctive in character, and pursuing strong international links to advance knowledge.

Undergraduate students will benefit from hands-on work experience through our work-integrated learning papers which are a component of all undergraduate degrees.

Our Management School is world-class, with the top 2022 ranking by Times Higher Education in Business and Economics amongst New Zealand universities, and a 101-125 position globally. The school has also achieved Triple Crown Accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, international benchmarks of excellence in business education.

We understand that each student is unique so we offer personalised programmes and lots of support. You will enjoy the benefits of a smaller university where you will be known as an individual and nurtured throughout your time with us by our dedicated team of international student support advisors. Our two campuses are located in the cities of Hamilton and Tauranga which are New Zealand’s fourth and fifth largest cities respectively.
