We have a strong academic foundation and we are committed to building a better future with our research, education and science.

Our values of creativity, openness, ethical principles, critical thinking and strong community are the cornerstones of our operations and provide a framework for all that we do. Sustainability is a cross-cutting theme in our strategy and we aim to develop an operational culture in which the principles of sustainable development are realised in our education, research, and interaction with different stakeholder groups in society.

Build your future with us

As one of the leading universities in Finland, the University of Turku offers study and research opportunities in eight faculties. We educate creative and independent problem solvers who are ready to solve complex scientific questions and social issues and build a sustainable world. The intake for our international Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes takes place once a year. Currently, we offer Master’s degree programmes in English in economics and business administration, education, health and biomedical sciences, technology and engineering, natural sciences, and social sciences and humanities.
