The University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine began as a technical school, transforming to a college, then an institute, academy and National Academy before gaining its university status. The university is located in Ukraine’s capital city of Kyiv, and aims to train specialists in tax, customs, economics, law, accountancy, auditing, analytics, management, IT, journalism, psychology and more.
The university offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees to prospective students. There are four accredited departments at the university which are public finance, financial markets, customs, and economic policy.
As a fiscal university, there is an importance placed on scientific research; studying the problems of taxation, developing fiscal policy in modern conditions, and improving the educational process. Through its research efforts, the university has established scientific relations with international organisations in France, Spain, Russia, South Korea and other countries across the world.
The university campus has many facilities including a sports complex and medical centre.
The Cultural and Art Centre at the university has 21 art groups and studios for students to get involved with and arranges events throughout the year. Students have the opportunity to study abroad during their time at the university to countries including Germany, US, UK and Poland.
