About the Role

Working on site in Adelaide, South Australia, this full-time role will work within UniSA Online to support the development and delivery of curriculum for the online Bachelor of Psychology program.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with expertise and passion in teaching psychology, which will include contributing to the design, development and teaching of engaging course curricula and materials for the program. The role will include implementing teaching approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes and will also contribute to the recruitment and development of online tutoring staff within UniSA Online.

We are currently recruiting for an Online Lecturer to teach first, second and third-year courses into the Bachelor of Psychology degree program. We are looking for candidates to have expertise in teaching statistics and research methodologies as well as in a range of discipline specific courses in psychology. In addition, candidates will have experiences in managing diverse student cohorts along with competing demands.    

The Bachelor of Psychology is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and as a result, applicants must fulfil APAC teaching requirements.

Critical to the success of the role will be establishing strong partnerships with stakeholders across the University to ensure that UniSA Online identifies and responds to strategic opportunities, and effectively leading and mentoring academic staff within the teaching team.

* This role does not have the capacity to work remotely, the successful candidate must reside in Adelaide, South Australia.
* This position, internally titled Online Course Facilitator, is advertised as Online Lecturer for broader industry recognition and alignment.

Essential Skills and Experience 


	Doctoral qualification in Psychology 
	Evidence of recent teaching experience and discipline knowledge within a relevant field 
	Demonstrated passion for and proficiency in undertaking teaching duties including the design and preparation of online teaching activities and resources 
	Demonstrated knowledge and experience of a wide range of education technologies such as learning management systems (LMS – e.g. Moodle, BlackBoard, or Canvas), and virtual classrooms

POSTDOC POSITION in Reproductive Biology

Dr. Zuzana Holubcová lab (Department of Histology and Embryology in Masaryk University Campus Brno) studies multiple aspects of mammalian oocyte and embryo development with a special focus on human reproductive biology and assisted reproduction. The research has a strong translational impact due to long-standing collaboration with local reproductive medicine centres and strong links to IVF professionals.

The successful candidate should:


	Hold a Ph.D. or its equivalent, awarded within the past 7 years, AND have worked in research for at least 2 years of work, within the last 3 years, outside the Czech Republic (with a workload equivalent to at least 0.5 full-time employment)
	Alternatively, hold a Ph.D. diploma (or equivalent) from an international institution awarded within the past 3 years
	Demonstrate a publication record that includes a minimum of three research outputs (articles) within the past three years, surpassing the field's median standards, with at least two of them ranked in Q1 according to Web of Science.


Specific qualifications include:


	Exhibit a genuine passion for scientific exploration and a deep-seated curiosity
	While prior experience with oocyte/embryo/stem cells research is beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement
	Possessing a robust foundation in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and or statistics/bioinformatics will be greatly advantageous

Description

The Center for Behavioral Institutional Design (C-BID), New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research scientist/ senior research scientist to support the center in conducting applied research in behavioral social science, undertaken in collaboration with local public and private partners. The research scientist/ senior research scientist will contribute to advancing the design of scientifically informed institutions and policies that have local impact, and improve economic outcomes and welfare.

The ideal candidate will be a well-trained, self-motivated, hard-working, professional, equally capable of working alone and as part of a team, and hold a PhD in Economics with at least 5 years’ experience in their field along with extensive research and publication in well-known journals and conference paper. The position requires expertise in experimental, empirical, and/or theoretical methods. Candidates with research experience in the private or public sector are also encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills in English, the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and scientific creativity are essential.

Successful applicants are expected to work in the behavioral policy cluster of the center to design policy and institutions in close collaboration with the C-BID team (Nikos Nikiforakis, John Wooders, Olivier Bochet, and Ernesto Reuben) and the center's numerous partners.

The position provides a salary higher than internationally competitive rates for research scientist positions, in addition to substantial benefits (generous housing, transportation and travel allowances, educational subsidies for children), together with full health insurance and retirement contributions. The UAE does not levy income tax.
