The University of Jendouba is located in Jendouba, a town in north west Tunisia. The university was founded in 2003.
It provides higher education for four north-western provinces – Jendouba, Beja, El Kef and Siliana. Five of its 13 faculties are supported by ministries, three by the Ministry for Agriculture, the others by the Ministries of Public Health and of Youth and Sports.
Three faculties – law, economics and management science and human sciences – are based on the campus in Jendouba. The forestry and range institute is in the coastal town of Tabarka, also in Jendouba province.
The province of Beja is where the faculties of biotechnology and applied and media languages, with engineering located in Majaz Al-Bab and the arts and crafts faculty located in Siliana. El Kef is home to humanities, informatics, nursing, agriculture, music and theatre, and sport and physical education.
