The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University, invites applications for the following position:

Post-doctoral Researcher in Health Economic Microsimulation and/or Pharmacoeconomics

Masaryk University, the Faculty of Economics and Administration, is looking for a highly motivated and productive post-doctoral researcher in the field of in the field of health economic microsimulation and/or pharmacoeconomics.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with experts from Masaryk University and other partner institutions on projects related to ageing, including Alzheimer’s disease, burden of disease, program evaluation, health claims data analysis and on the development of an economic-demographic microsimulation model.

The position will include collaborations with microeconomists, data scientists, biostatisticians, demographers, sociologists, clinicians and other experts, and primarily focus on peer-reviewed research and microsimulation model development.

We are looking for a candidate:


	with PhD. degree or or near completion of PhD. studies
	with education and experience fields like microeconomics, biostatistics, health economics, health policy or epidemiology
	with experience in developing microsimulation models or experience of their use in peer-reviewed research is of high relevance


strong programming skills in R are welcome, knowledge of Stata is appreciated


	previous experience with claims or registry data is particularly welcome
	with excellent background in empirical methods, mixed methods researchers are invited as well
	with research potential demonstrated by a strong job market paper or at least 1 peer-reviewed publication
	with fluency in English
	who is a self-driven person
	who is able to define their own research agenda


 What does the position entail:


	collaborations with microeconomists, data scientists, biostatisticians, demographers, sociologists, clinicians and other experts
	 peer-reviewed research and its presentation at international conferences
	contribution to the preparation of national and international grant proposals


What do we offer?


	a full-time (40 hours a week) Postdoctoral Researcher position at one of the highest-ranked universities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe
	earliest starting date of the contract is March 1st, 2025 or later upon mutual agreement.

The unit Foundations of education offers you the opportunity to research and teach in an internationally networked team and to develop your own research profile. Position Summary:
The Education Department at Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a focus in early literacy and educational psychology to start in August 2025. Demonstrated success or evidence of potential to excel in teaching and advising undergraduates is essential, as is ongoing scholarly productivity and institutional service. Evidence of a strong commitment to pedagogies that foster diversity and inclusion is required. Responsibilities will include teaching literacy and child development courses and supervising student teachers in pre-K - 4th grade placements. Additional responsibilities may include teaching introductory education courses and graduate courses. The new faculty member will advise education students, serve on university committees, and engage in scholarly and professional activities. The course load is 3 courses per semester.

Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in literacy, curriculum and instruction, or a related field. Also required is a minimum of two years of teaching experience in pre-k - 4th-grade school contexts, with a strong preference for candidates with additional university-level teaching experience. ABD will be considered, but completion of the degree is required by August 2025.

Preferred Qualifications:
Highly desirable are 3 or more years of teaching experience in early childhood or elementary education, as well as experience in higher education.
