Universiapolis – Universite Internationale d’agadir is the first private higher education institution in Morocco to adopt a north American education system. It operates across a six-hectare campus, which provides students with everything they need to excel at their studies.
The university is located in Agadir, a major city in Morocco. Situated on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, near the foot of the Atlas Mountains, Agadir is the capital of the Agadir Ida-u-Tanan prefecture and of the Souss-Massa economic region. The city is known for being the capital of Amazigh culture and is one of the few big Moroccan cities where Tamazight, one of the country’s two official languages, is spoken by more than half of the population.
Academically the university is organised into five schools: business school, school of engineering, school of hospitality and communication, school of law and political science, and the school of health sciences and medicine. Within each school are different departments, which offer a wide range of degree programmes at both undergraduate and graduate degree level.
International cooperation is an important part of the university’s activity. It has established partnerships with a number of higher education institutions across the globe in order to facilitate academic and scientific exchanges. It currently offers students the opportunity to participate in an international exchange programme with one of its partner universities for a semester, a year or a second cycle. This exchange programme aims to improve the international mobility of students, to strengthen their skills in foreign languages and their openness to other cultures.
