Roosevelt University was founded in 1945 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
On March 9, 2020, Robert Morris University Illinois merged with Roosevelt University and continued under the name of Roosevelt University.
The main university campus is in downtown Chicago and occupies the iconic Auditorium Building, the tallest in Chicago when it was constructed. The university has other facilities at the Gage Building. Between them these two buildings host the majority of the university’s academic and administrative facilities as well as sports and leisure services, a theatre and an art gallery.
The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through seven different schools including performing arts, arts and sciences, education, pharmacy and business among others.
There are a range of student organisations at the university including Greek societies, the sociological society and the green society. Students are also able to join The Torch which is the student newspaper.
