Phetchabun Rajabhat University was originally established in 1973 by the Ministry of Education as Phetchabun Teacher College. In 1992 the college became Rajabhat Institute Phetchabun. It was granted university status by King Bhumibol Adulayadej in 2005 and was renamed Phetchabun Rajabhat University.
The university is located in Phetchabun, one of Thailand’s 26 provinces.
There are five faculties at the university: faculty of education, faculty of humanities and social sciences, faculty of science and technology, faculty of management science, and the faculty of agriculture technology. Within each faculty are different departments offering a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
For students looking for a more flexible approach to their studies, the university offers part time and weekend courses.
