Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology was established in 2008 by the Ondo State Government, and was originally named the Ondo State University of Science and Technology. It is a technology-based institution.
The university offers academic programmes in science, engineering and engineering technology, agriculture, food and natural resources, and postgraduate studies.
In addition to its faculties, Olusegun Agagu has several centres that encourage research and innovation for business technology, and the blue economy and innovation. There’s also a centre for entrepreneurship and ICT training.
The university has partnerships with universities in theUS and the Caribbean, providing exchange programmes, research opportunities, and knowledge transfers to its staff and students. Their partnership universities include Morgan State University and the University of Texas.
The university’s campus is located in the Igbodoko area of Nigeria’s Delta State, around 350km south of the country’s capital city, Abuja.
