Netaji Subhas University of Technology was founded in 1983 as the Delhi Institute of Technology that was affiliated to the University of Delhi. In 2018 the institute gained university status and its current name.
The university’s campuses are located in Dwarka, in India; there’s two campuses in total, west and east. Students can choose to live on campus at one of the university’s four hostels. There’s also four canteens, sports facilities, shops, a bank, and a library.
There are 16 departments across the university offering a wide range of degree programmes. As a technology university, these departments include: electronics and communication, mechanical engineering, humanities and social sciences, architecture and planning, physics, information technology, civil engineering, and more. Undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes are on offer to students at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
Clubs and societies at NSUT include music, drama, photography, finance and economics, student newspaper, debate, motorsports, and more.
