The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering is the largest higher education establishment in the Rivne region of Ukraine. It has its origins with the Kyiv Secondary Agricultural Hydrotechnical School, and gained its current name 2004. It is the only higher education institution in Ukraine that trains students for water management.
Rivne, formally known as Rovno, is a city located in Western Ukraine with over a dozen universities, making for a diverse and exciting student population.
The university has eight institutes, five training centres and five colleges where students are offered 31 bachelor degrees, 30 specialised programmes, and 38 postgraduate master’s programmes in areas such as automatics, cybernetics and computer engineering. There’s also programmes in: agroecology and land management; water management and environmental engineering; mechanics; law; building and architecture; economics and management; industrial and civil engineering.
The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering has international relations with universities and organisations across the world in Poland, France, the US, Bulgaria, Georgia and many other countries.
