Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) is a polytechnic university founded in 2019. The university is located in Blantyre, Malawi.
The university is divided into five schools, offering distinctive graduate and postgraduate courses tailored to business and applied sciences. These schools include: the School of Science and Technology, the School of Built Environment, the School of Business and Economic Sciences, the School of Education, Communication and Media Studies, and the School of Engineering. Within each school are different departments, such as architecture, economics and law, civil engineering, computer sciences and IT, mining engineering and journalism and media studies.
Blantyre is Malawi’s second-largest city, and is a significant economic and industrial hub.
MUBAS has modern facilities and a range of extracurricular activities including sports, cultural festivals and academic competitions, as well as various societies and unions which can be joined.
