We are recruiting a Cyber Assurance Lead to provide a focal point for Information Security Assurance, providing guidance and support to colleagues within IT Services and across the business.

As a senior risk professional, you will be leading on information security assurance, working with other security disciplines, technical teams and architects to overlay good practice and security controls in support of business activities. Using your business acumen, you will apply appropriate risk analysis principles to support the University mission.

What you’ll be doing:


	Working with the Head of Information Security to develop the University’s security and compliance frameworks, maintaining and developing accreditation for IT Services’ service catalogue
	Managing the PCI-DSS certification process, supporting all faculties / departments to ensure that their payment solutions are compliant
	Managing the annual certification activities associated with NHS DSP Toolkit 
	Managing the annual certification activities associated with Cyber Essentials+
	As lead for governance within Cyber Security team, operate and continuously improve the cyber risk registers and management information, supporting the successful communication of business risk within the institutional risk framework and University committee structure
	Provide product ownership for OneTrust (GRC platform) and Bitsight (Security Performance Management; Third Party Risk)


What you’ll have:


	Substantial vocational and relevant management experience, and success in similar or related roles, supported by evidence of significant appropriate specialist knowledge
	Experience of administering vendor risk management processes, and prior experience of risk assessment
	Experience of working with external parties in relation to their specific information security assurance requirements, such as NHS England (NHS DSP Toolkit); ONS (ONS Secure Research Service)
	Experience of developing workflows in support of information governance and information security assurance; particularly any service development involving GRC processes and tooling (such as OneTrust)
	Appropriate IT Security/risk certifications (such as one or more of: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC)
	Ability to work flexibly, including working outside of regular office hours upon occasion where incidents arise

About the position

This position is in the Enabling Programs team, part of the Widening Participation and Outreach department within the Office of the Provost. Widening Participation and Outreach is responsible for activities and programs that inform post-secondary school aspiration and access to university students from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds, and Enabling Programs is the academic unit that supports university entry for aspiring students without a traditional entry pathway. The team delivers the Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP), one of Victoria’s major Enabling Programs, as an ATAR-alternative pathway program for school students (Aspire Prepare) and plays a key role in supporting the University’s equity mission.

Reporting to the Academic Director, Widening Participation, the Lecturer, Enabling Programs, leads the Enabling Programs team, managing two Associate Lectures as well as casual academic staff. The incumbent is responsible for day-to-day academic administration including acting as Subject Coordinator for the program’s subjects, ensuring grading and student support is delivered in a timely manner, and maintaining subject role-overs. The position works closely with other colleagues in the Widening Participation and Outreach department, as well as teams across the University, particularly Admissions.

The academic programs (TPP and Prepare) are taught entirely online. The subjects are asynchronous but intensively taught, using supportive and scaffolded developmental feedback on frequent, low stakes assessments to develop learner confidence and academic skills. Experience in an innovative online learning environment will be highly valued.

Key Selection Criteria

To be considered for this position, you will have:


	PhD degree or equivalent accreditation and standing recognized by the University/profession as appropriate.
	Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, curriculum development and subject coordination in online modes, preferable asynchronous, as evidenced by sustained high results on student feedback on teaching surveys, teaching excellence awards or through other forms of evidence.
	Experience working within University policy and procedural environments including academic administration tasks (grades, subject administration, responding to academic misconduct etc).
	Emerging or established engagement with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, in particular in the areas of: supporting academic skill development at the Enabling level and/or effective and innovative online pedagogies and/or supporting the transition to higher education of people from diverse/disadvantaged backgrounds.
	Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively, collaboratively, and productively with staff and students from a diverse range of backgrounds.
	Proven experience and success in managing academic staff performance and development.

Full Professor of Historical Archaeology with a Focus on the Later Middle Ages, Modern Times and Contemporary History

The position:

The applicant has a special research focus in historical archaeology (with a focus on the period from the late Middle Ages up to contemporary historical archaeology), primarily in Central Europe, and pursues a broad interdisciplinary approach. Further strengthening the existing interdisciplinary competences of the Viennese archaeological research landscape is desired, especially in the field of material and/or Heritage Sciences. The ability and willingness to teach theories and methods of archaeology as well as medieval, modern and contemporary archaeology are extensively required. This also includes conducting training excavations.

About the role

This role involves working with students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, primarily in the Fashion Design programme. You will be able to provide high quality technical delivery and support in the use and maintenance of specialist equipment and facilities. You will support the programme with delivery of garment construction, pattern cutting, production, manufacture and safe studio practice. It is also desirable for you to have experience of working with 3D digital construction software and supporting equipment.
