About Maastricht University

Maastricht University is located in Maastricht in the south of the Netherlands. There are satellite campuses in Venlo and Brussels.

There are six faculties at the university: arts and social sciences; health, medicine and life sciences; law; psychology and neuroscience; science and engineering; business and economics, within which are several departments. Across these faculties are bachelors, masters, excellence and honours programmes as well as exchange programmes for students.

There’s many student organisations and clubs offering sporting events, outdoor activities, concerts and get-togethers for students to meet other students and explore the city

As a student in Maastricht, you don’t live on campus or in private accommodation most students will live in student rooms, furnished rooms or Het Landbouwbelang (housing community). It is common for students to cook and eat together.

Maastricht University is the most international university in the Netherlands with over 100 nationalities among its staff and students.
