Located in South West Nairobi, Maasai Mara University is a public university aiming to provide quality education across its five schools of: science and information sciences, arts and social sciences, tourism and natural resource management, business and economics, and education.
As a source of African culture and indigenous knowledge, the university is active in outreach activities for sustainable development, and contributes to the conservation of natural resources in collaboration with the Narok County Government.
Across its five schools, the university offers undergraduate, master’s, and PhD degree programmes, as well as diploma and certificate courses. All of the university’s programmes are offered after a demand assessment, responding to the needs of the community.
On campus, students can join in with sporting activities such as soccer, rugby, hockey, volleyball, and badminton. There’s also a range of clubs and societies at Maasai Mara, from music club to the Christian union, and theatre troupe club.
