Kütahya Health Sciences University was established in 2018.
The university is located in Kütahya, a city in western Turkey.
The university is divided into four faculties: the faculty of medicine, the faculty of dentistry, the faculty of health sciences, and the faculty of engineering and natural sciences. Each faculty is subdivided into a number of departments, which offer a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
There are also three vocational schools: Gediz Vocational School of Health Sciences, Simav Vocational School of Health Sciences, and Saglik Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu.
The Evliya Celebi Training and Research Hospital provides students with the opportunity to enrich their studies and gain practical experience outside the classroom. It also offers healthcare to members of the local community and the surrounding areas.
There are a number of centres and institutes at the university, which facilitate various research projects. These include the Mouth and Dental Health Application and Research Centre and the Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Centre.
Students are given the opportunity to study abroad as part of the university’s academic exchange programmes. The Erasmus Programme Coordination Office is responsible for organising and overseeing these programmes and welcoming international students to the university.
