Komazawa Women's University is a women's only, private university in the city of Inagi, near Tokyo, Japan.

Founded as a Buddhist-affiliated university in 1993, the origins of Komazawa Women's University can be found over 90 years ago in Komazara Senior High School, established in 1927.

The city of Inagi is in the south-central portion of Tokyo Metropolis, about 25 km from central Tokyo. The city borders Kanagawa Prefecture to the south and has the Tama River flowing through it.

There are three main departments, the Human Integrated Studies Group, the faculty of human health and the faculty of nursing. The Human Integrated Studies Group includes the department of human cultural studies, the department of tourism cultural studies, the college of psychology and the department of living space design studies. Courses at the university involve four years of study.

The department of human cultural studies offers an English communication major, as well as other courses in the department of Japanese culture and the department of human relations.

The department of living space design studies offers courses in interior design and architecture design.

Within the university, scholarships include the Komazawa Gakuen Scholarship and the Current Student Scholarship Programme.

The Humanities and Nursing School is the latest to be added to the university, having opened in 2018.

Facilities include the Buddhist Culture Centre, the Japan Institute of Culture, the Health and Nutrition Consultation Office, the Psychological Consultation Centre, the Temple Material Research Centre, the library, the Course Synthesis Centre, the Learning Support Centre, the Student Counselling Room and the Health Office.
