Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) is located in Nonoichi City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
The university is made up of four colleges including engineering, informatics and human connection, architecture and bioscience and chemistry. There are also graduate schools in engineering, psychology and education management.
There are a range of research laboratories at the university including the Laboratory of Psychological Science, KIT Aeronautics Laboratory, KIT AI Lab, the Institute of Japan Studies and the Genome Biotechnology Laboratory among others.
The facilities at the university include the sports lab, the library centre, study hall, counselling centre and career skills and development centre among others.
The university’s Center for International Programs manages the administration of the Japanese language programme and incoming international students.
Housing for international students is either in the KIT international community house or a KIT designated apartment.
