Tracing back its origins to 1922 (and producing Canada’s oldest business journal from 1933), Ivey Business School was officially created in 1950 as the business school of the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.

Graduate options are led by Ivey’s full-time MBA, created in 1948. It was Canada's first MBA program and the first to be offered outside of the US. Modeled on the Harvard Business School MBA, the programme has relocated from the University of Western Ontario campus to the Spencer Leadership Centre, also in London, Ontario. Meanwhile, The Master of Science in Management at Ivey is designed to prepare the student for an international career and Ivey’s involvement in CEMS gives students the opportunity to participate in the Master of International Management program with students from 29 other schools in the alliance.

The Ivey executive MBA (EMBA) was founded in 1991. Ivey’s PhD in business focuses on study in eight disciplines: finance, general management, information systems, management science, managerial accounting, marketing, operations management and organisational behaviour.
