Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav is a Ukrainian higher educational institution rooted in centuries-old traditions of educational development in the region. Established in 1986 as the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi branch of the Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute, it obtained full university status in 2010 and was renamed Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav.
Located in Pereiaslav, a city in Kyiv Oblast, central Ukraine, near the confluence of the Alta and Trubizh rivers, it's approximately 95 kilometres south of Kyiv. Pereiaslav boasts a rich cultural heritage and is designated as a History and Ethnography Reserve.
The university comprises seven faculties, offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. It has a dedicated Department of International Relations to manage its international activities and enhance its global standing in the educational and scientific communities.
