Hanseo University has campuses in Seosan and Taean and was established in 1992.
Undergraduate prospective students can choose to study a range of courses from six faculties, including: aeronautical science, transdisciplinary aeronautical studies, health science, design media, aquatic studies, and liberal arts and interdisciplinary studies. Prospective graduate students can choose from programmes within multidisciplinary design, education, health promotion, and transdisciplinary aeronautical studies.
The university has partnerships with 76 universities across South Korea and 16 other countries, through which it offers students exchange programmes to study abroad.
The HanSeo International College of Aviation was established in March 2017 to bring the university’s aeronautical responsibilities into one college. It has 48 aircrafts and a 1180m runway for students to learn from. The 2A programme for aeronautics is a unique offering, with both the airfield and Flight Education Centre delivering specialised training in aeronautics.
