Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) is located in multiple cities across the south of Finland. Teaching and learning is based around industry and commerce.
The university has campuses in Evo, Forssa, Hämeenlinna, Lepaa, Mustiala, Riihimäki and Valkeakoski.
It offers bachelor's and master's degrees across six fields of study. These fields include culture; natural resources and the environment; natural sciences; social services; health and sports; technology, communication and transport and social sciences, business and administration.
Four degrees at bachelor level are taught in English as well as two master's level programmes. There are 37 degree progrmmes in total.
Students come from around 70 different countries.
The university has about 100 partner universities in Europe as well as some 20 partner universities in Asia, North and South America, Russia and Africa. Additionally HAMK has some 10 double degree partners so that students can complete another degree while studying at HAMK.
There are a broad selection of sports activities that students can participate in.

Finland is well-known for its beautiful scenery and students can try many new experiences such as bathing in a lakeside sauna or forage for local produce such as herbs and berries. Finland also has a 100 per cent literacy rate.
