The Egyptian Russian University was founded in 2006 as the first private university in the Middle East that operates in cooperation with Russian universities. Located in Badr City, the university campus is just minutes away from Egypt’s new administrative capital.
There are four faculties at the university including engineering, pharmacy, oral and dental medicine, and management, professional technology and computers. In addition to undergraduate courses, the university offers a programme which helps students secure scholarships for pursuing masters and PhD graduate studies. Students also have opportunities to do summer training programmes and study abroad exchanges in Russia.
The main language of instruction at the university is English.
At the university, students complete their courses under the credit hour system, meaning students can study at their own pace across three semesters. Students in the faculty of oral and dental medicine get the opportunity to undertake work experience in the community.
