institution

De La Salle University positions itself as a learner-centered research institution of higher learning, building the foundation of tomorrow's leaders. It is renowned for its academic excellence, groundbreaking research, and empowering community engagement.

Acknowledged as a premier university in the Philippines, it serves as a significant resource for the country and rest of the global society by developing leaders and achievers in business, public service, education, science and technology, and the arts.

Lasallian Curriculum

All DLSU degree programs are modern, future-proof, and rooted in the best traditions of Lasallian education. Every program is different, but all share the following features:

  • Programs adopt an outcomes-based education: learning in the classroom is problem-based and research-oriented.
  • Programs prepare students for the Fourth Industrial Revolution: These programs are interdisciplinary by design and prioritize critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Programs create a meaningful and nurturing university experience. With the Global Enrichment Term, students can decide to do longer internships, study overseas, do volunteer work and community engagement, or start ventures.
  • Programs provide numerous curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for students to learn how to bridge faith and scholarship.

Top-notch Faculty

The faculty of DLSU is a powerhouse team of experts in the fields of arts and social sciences, business, computer technology, education, engineering, law, and natural science. They are researchers, scientists, engineers, industry consultants, writers, and educators who make the University a leading resource in the country as well as in the international front.

They are among the Top 150 Filipino Scientists and Scholars by Webometrics, which releases a beta ranking of the scientists according to their declared presence in the Google Scholar Citations database.

A mix of cultural insights and a common desire to contribute to the generation of new knowledge, they regularly update their curricula and engage in relevant and path-breaking researches. They maintain collaborative ties with international and national academic and industry partners.
