De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde is a private, Catholic secondary and tertiary educational institute. The institution is named after De La Salle Brothers, a religious order founded by St. John Baptist de La Salle dedicated to providing education, particularly to the marginalised.
The college was established in 1980, and is located in Malate district of Manila, Philippines.
It offers degree and non-degree programmes in arts, design, management, service industries, computer applications in business, and many other specialised disciplines. It is the first college in the Philippines to offer degrees in technical subjects such as animation, film, production design, multimedia arts, fashion design and merchandising, dance and photography.
The college has four campuses with amenities like spacious classrooms, halls, workshops, sports facilities and computer rooms. The college also has several interest-based clubs that organise events throughout the year. In addition to this, the college also has a student government body, student publications, volunteer groups, and a dedicated multimedia resource centre known as Br. Fidelis Leddy Learning Resource Center (LRC).
The college is a member institution of De La Salle Philippines (DLSP), a network of 16 Catholic Lasallian institutions.
