Daneshpajoohan Pishro Higher Education Institute was established in 2006, and was recognised by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2015 as a leading higher education institute in Iran.
Bachelors, master's and associate degrees are offered at the university in over 50 disciplines across 10 schools. Bachelor’s degrees can be studied in subjects from industrial design to psychology. Master’s degrees include urban planning and interior architecture. Lastly, associate degrees from drawing architecture to welding can be studied. As part of their studies, students also have access to the Office of Industry Relations, where they can apply for internships, placements and field trips to gain industry experience.
The Institute has six scholarly societies for students to join during their time there. These include the architecture and urban development society, industrial design society, robotic group, industrial engineering society, civil engineering society, and humanities society. When a member of one of these societies, students have the ability to attend workshops, cooperate with external institutions, attend conventions and hold events.
Students who are interested in philanthropy can get involved with the Red Crescent Centre. The centre works with students and the local public to register for organ donations, gather donations, conduct health stations and distribute health information.
The Institute is located in the city of Esfahan in Iran, an area famous for its Persian architecture. From the historic bazaar, to the Persian gardens, and Unesco-listed central square, Esfahan has a wealth of culture to offer its students.
