Founded in 1997, the Cyprus International University is located in the capital city of Nicosia.
There are 12 faculties at the university, as well as eight schools and an institute of graduate studies. Across this wide range of academic departments, students have access to programmes in disciplines including health sciences, law, medicine, arts, dentistry, economics, communication and engineering.
Teaching at the university is in English.
The university has a sports complex which has an indoor swimming pool, fitness room, table tennis tables, squash courts and an indoor sports hall.
The university has a radio station which students can get involved with as well as a range of student clubs including computer science club, riding club, dance club and gastronomy club among others.
The Work and Life Skills Development Project at Cyprus International University allows students to gain hands-on experience in the world of work, learn from experts and join professional networks while at university. The project works with major brands such as Stonite, NovaBank and K-Pet.
