Chiang Mai Rajabhat University is located in northern Thailand. It was founded in 1924 and began by specialising in agricultural teacher training. In 2004, it gained its current name after the king granted the use of his Royal Crest as the university’s emblem.
The four campuses that make up the university are Wiang Bua in the centre of Chiang Mai; Mae Sa; Mae Rim; and Mae Hong Son Campus. Across the university, there are five main faculties of study, including education, humanities and social science, science and technology, management Science and agricultural technology.
