Founded in 2011 by Dr. Peterchris Okpala, Charisma University is a Turks and Caicos Islands higher institution approved by the Turks and Caicos Islands Ministry of Education.
It is situated in the Grace Bay area, located on the northeast coast of the island of Providenciales.
At Charisma University, students can gain undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees within a wide variety of faculties, including: business, education, law, philosophy and religion, psychology and behavioural science and health science. Within these faculties, there are over 40 degree programmes and other specialisms for students to choose from.
Charisma University has a commitment to adult learners too. The degrees on offer can be structured to allow students the flexibility to schedule their coursework around other responsibilities like jobs or childcare.
To gain admission to Charisma University, there’s an English proficiency requirement. For applicants whose native language is not English, students must take a Test of English as a Foreign Language, and receive a minimum score.
The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad. These partnerships with universities worldwide have also paved the way for faculty exchange and advanced research opportunities.
