Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi is a public university located in Burdur, Turkey. It was established in 2006, and is named after Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the composer of the Turkish National Anthem. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and vocational courses in different disciplines through its different faculties, institutes and schools.
It has a well-built campus and consist of numerous amenities for students, which include: spacious dormitories, canteens and cafeterias, cinema, recreational centres and libraries. The university also has different student clubs that organise numerous activities such as concerts, courses, exhibitions, festivals, conferences, panels, symposium, knowledge contests, and seminars. Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi also has a dedicated student’s council to contribute towards the wellbeing and interests of its student community.
